INTRODUCING OUR EYE CANDY COLLECTION

INTRODUCING OUR EYE CANDY COLLECTION

Our Eye Candy Collection is all about embracing one's inner child. In this diary entry we detail the founder's process behind the sweet-inspired collection.

Childhood perspective as something to retain:

"My childlike admiration for nature played a massive role in starting Venerucci. You know the way kids are so enamoured with the most mundane things like raindrops on car window, or clouds as they glaze the sky. I always felt different because I never grew out of that childlike wonder at the world. Which led me to create Venerucci, a jewellery brand that embraces the awe-striking beauty of creation. Allowing you to capture a piece of nature as forever jewellery!"

Sweets, the thing we all loved as kids!

"When I was thinking of Ideas for my first ever collection, I went back to what I loved as a child. Whilst I loved puppies, and kittens, mostly at that age. Although I knew I couldn't make jewellery out of dogs, that would raise some concerns with PETA. So I looked to what I loved next as much as dogs growing up, and that was sweeties! Although our American cousins call it Candy, I much prefer the title sweeties, or sweets, its much more fitting and filled with nostalgia.

When I imagined the necklaces I could make inspired by sweets, so many ideas flooded my mind. Bon Bon's the chewy Olde English sweet that we never got tired of as kids, was the inspiration behind the Bon Bon range.

I also recollected the Sherbert Candy that you could wear as a necklace, for many of us, our first entrance into the jewellery world was edible, and delectable while we are at it! This Sherbert necklace was the inspiration behind the Sweet like candy necklace range."

Note from Founder:

"I hope that this collection fills you with as much joy, nostalgia, and excitement as it did for me creating it! My one message with this collection would be, the best way to grow old is to become like a child again!"
